"Design in the Age of Darwin,"—organized by Northwestern University art history professor Stephen F. Eisenman, with Block Museum curator Corinne Granof—explored the previously unrecognized relationship between Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution and English and American decorative arts and architecture in the 19th and 20th centuries.
A special exhibit at SOFA CHICAGO 2007. Presented were works by
renowned British designer John Makepeace, and two of his former students, Mike Jarvi and Critz
Campbell.
